We’ve been literally swinging into action with a newly constructed trio of swings.  Ideal for toddlers to teenagers

The new wooden frame has been erected using reclaimed 12 foot and 20 foot telegraph poles sourced locally making it an eco-friendly project.  We’ll also be adding some low beams to challenge your balance.

Our popular boules pitch offers plenty of family fun to test your skills.  The pitch is beautifully shaded under a canopy of trees offering natural shade and views across the valley.  A perfect way to entertain the children whilst the BBQ is working it’s magic!

And with a giant Connect 4, pitch ‘n’ putt and a small slide in the play area, the kids will be entertained and safe.  An ideal environment to make new friends.

Why not gather around the fire pit and roast some yummy marshmallows together?  Time to sit and relax around the warm glow of the fire in beautiful grounds and snatch glimpses of the bats zooming around.

Simple stuff shared.  It’s the primitive in us that enjoys spending time outside and sharing tales of the day’s events and to talk about where to visit tomorrow…. Plus the perfect pudding after a family BBQ perhaps …

GAMES ROOM

Our new nautical themed Games Room offers table-tennis and darts.  It’s a great ‘hang-out’ zone under cover with the compulsory super-fast Wi-Fi. Apologies but this is the age we live in and despite our best efforts we’d get an enormous thumbs down if it wasn’t available!!

In our games room, you can borrow a host of different in-door and outdoor toys and games to use at your leisure during your stay.

If you didn’t have room for a body board in the car, then we can help.  You’ll find various bat and ball sets, beach buckets and spades, a windbreaker etc.  There’s even a stash of freezer packs available for you to use in your picnic bags to keep everything cool and fresh plus a big freezer.  There’s also a handy box of BBQ tools.  Life made simple.

ALPACA WALKIES AND TALKIES

Meet ‘our boys’ Macchu, Cusco and Lima – our super friendly alpacas.

The smiling faces in these photos are testimony to the joy these animals bring. We call is “alpaca love”.

A fun and free chance for the family to get up close and personal with these beautiful animals.  Learn some fun and fleecy facts, take them for a walk around the grounds, and of course feed them some treats.  Naturally, the boys are harness trained and agreeable to a cuddle or two!

They’re a big hit with the kids.  We’ve been given some beautiful water colours and drawings of the alpacas, and you’ll see these hanging in the cottages.  And the feedback from our guests about the alpaca walks is heart-warming. They really are treasured memories whatever your age.

We’re always being asked why we chose alpacas? The short answer is that we fell in love with them during a tour of South America and this is why they are named after Peruvian destinations.
