Nestled at the base of a steep wooded valley, the pretty harbour and village of Boscastle is an absolute must see. Once home to the inimitable Thomas Hardy, there’s so much history to soak up (in fact the settlement dates all the way back to the 1100s). It’s also one of THE most beautiful spots on this coastline.

Is there any better way to entertain the whole family than with a glorious beach day? Absolutely not! And it really doesn’t get much more family friendly than Widemouth. Miles of gorgeous sand at low tide, waves to suit big kids and the littlest sea legs, rock pools to get lost in. Don’t forget to take a stomp along the coast path at Widemouth too to take it all in.
