Lunch by the beach or dinner in the pub - Cornwall has got you covered

We’re very fortunate to have a number of great places to eat and drink in the local area. If you’re looking to stay close to your cottage then our nearest pub, The Wilsey Down, is renowned for its hearty Sunday carvery and good range of local ales. Trencreek Farmhouse is another favourite of ours – Richard and Margaret prepare home cooked fayre in their own farmhouse (booking a must to enjoy this).

If you're wanting a meal on the coast, Boscastle and Crackington Haven are both great options

If you’re wanting to enjoy North Cornwall it’s only right you should get the chance to grab a bite on the beach. The Coombe Barton Inn overlooks the sand in Crackington Haven and is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal with a view. The Riverside (Boscastle), is the place to go if you’d like to sample locally caught fish, farmed meats and fresh vegetables all in one place. Our favourite pub in Boscastle would have to be The Cobweb Inn which offers live music, real ales, locally sourced food, and appearances from the locally renowned Boscastle Buoys!

Enjoying great food whilst overlooking the beach at Widemouth Bay - that's a meal

Widemouth Bay is just 10 miles with us and is jam-packed with options when it comes to eating out. The Beach House has some of the best fish and chips around and is just meters from the beach itself! The Bay View Inn lets you kick back on an al fresco terrace with great food and a cold glass of wine. Trelawny Tearoom is the place to go for a top cup of tea, homemade cakes and cream teas.

There are plenty of options for all ages when you visit Bude

There’s certainly no shortage of options if you’re looking to eat in Bude. River Life Cafe is great if you’re wanting to enjoy a relaxing breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner with family and friends, or The Bank is an excellent bistro and tapas bar just on the outskirts where . If it’s Chinese or Thai food you’re after then pop into Tiandi.
