Have a little fun at some of the local beaches – perhaps even learn to surf or paddleboard

North Cornwall is known for its epic surf but there’s plenty of fun to be had in the shallows for the whole family too. Head for one of the bigger beaches – Widemouth or Summerleaze – to find your pick of surf and water sports schools to improve your skills. Or spend a few hours paddling on the shoreline or splashing about in the rock pools.
